The New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins are both reportedly interested in acquiring Bell Pepper.
According to Business Insider’s Ryan Suter, the two teams are close to an agreement and the Rangers are the frontrunner to land the world’s most popular pepper.
Suter also noted that the Penguins have a lot of work to do to bring the team’s attendance to the level it was before the team began its push into the postseason.
The team was at about a million fans when it reached the Stanley Cup Final last year.
That is expected to grow to at least 3 million in 2019-20.
